We collect the minimum we need to plan and run your trip, and we do not sell it to anyone. Ever.
What we collect
- What you send us: your name, contact details, travel dates, group details (including children's ages for car seats), hotel, flight numbers, and anything else you share while planning.
- Website analytics: standard, aggregated usage data (pages visited, device type) used to understand how the site is used. Our hosting provider may set basic performance cookies.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes and run your bookings — pickups, car seats, guides, boats.
- To contact you about your own trip. We do not add you to marketing lists without asking first.
- We share details with the driver or guide assigned to your day only as needed to operate it (for example, your name, pickup point and pickup time).
What we don't do
- We do not sell or rent your personal information.
- We do not publish your name or photos without your explicit permission.
- We do not keep payment card details on this website; payments are handled through the methods stated in your booking confirmation.
Retention & your choices
We keep booking records for our accounting and to make your next trip easier. If you would like your information corrected or deleted, message hello@guateprivate.com and we will take care of it promptly.
